A quality raw material treated
with extreme care, a knowledgeable oenological technique, the search for a
strong personality and character: these are the ingredients for the success
of the Lucio Salmini wines, which also this year have not disappointed us,
starting from the new arrival: L’Ala del Drago 2002. Gutturnio Superiore has
a deep color, which offers an intense bouquet of mature fruits which is
full-bodied and balanced to the palate, with slight balsamic hints.
Vinification: Gutturnio is
obtained from Bonarda and Barbera grapes fermented in stainless steel vats
and subsequently refined in new French wooden barrels.
