This wine from the Piacenza Hills
has a deep ruby red color with hints of violet, and is of a most remarkable
consistence.
The perfumes are splendid, intense, persistent and powerful, the spices,
especially cloves, red currant, and a slightly herbaceous hint most
prominent.
The feel in the mouth is of excellent weight, extremely smooth with a sweet
and compact tannin.
The length is extraordinary and rich with fruity sensations.
