This wine is purple red with
violet hues, which is typical of Nero d’Avola. It has the aroma of graphite
and red fruit, such as plums, berries and liquorice. It also has the
fragrance of hazelnuts, carob, peppercorns and figs, without losing the
aroma of Noto tufa and of the dust on the roads and in the vineyards during
the summer in Sicily. It is tightly tannic rather than weighty.
The flavor spreads from the centre of the plate, filling every part of the
mouth.
