Who are We

If "eating well" and the "good table" are part of the pleasures of life, and if we do not take into account individual tastes,  we must all agree that these pleasures are also fundamentally  a cultural fact. Through this site we wish to make known many wonderful worldwide products. At this time, however, we have to offer a wide range of Italian products that many of us didn't even have an idea existed, but, because of their quality or their traditional and/or organic characteristics deserve to be taken into consideration by the hall of honor of emercatino.net.

I invite you to explore, and taste, the products from the "contadino italiano" (Italian farmer) who have delighted many all through history. In time, we hope to bring other products specially selected from many countries all over the world.
